Lyman Orchards is hosting the 27th Harvest Music Festival this weekend

There’s already apple picking, a farmers’ market and a golf course, but on September 11-12, Lyman Orchards will also be the site of the 27th annual Harvest Music Festival.

The two-day event is a fundraiser hosted by St. Jude Connecticut Network to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, featuring live performances from local musicians and bands like the Monroe-based country band Goldrush.

“When you think of pioneering medical research, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital immediately comes to mind,” Lyman Orchards executive vice president John Lyman said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be the venue for this year’s Music Festival, and we anticipate a great turnout from fun-loving families who are equally excited to join the fight against childhood cancer. »

Tickets to the music festival are free, and tickets to the beer garden can be purchased for $20. Other fundraising events at Lyman Orchards over the two-day music festival weekend will include pony rides, hay rides, food and a rock ‘n’ roll themed corn maze. ‘ roll.


The Harvest Music Festival at Lyman Orchards isn’t the only outdoor fair or form of entertainment happening this season. Autumn is the time for outdoor events, and events like the North Haven Fair September 9-12, the Norwalk Oyster Festival September 10-12 and the Durham Fair in September help kick-start the fair season. 23 to 26.
