Gleason Family Vineyards in wine country Santa Barbara has raised the bar on its commitment to sustainability with a new series of initiatives aimed at returning the land to one of its former uses: pasture for farm animals. closed.

The family-owned brand of vineyards — including Roblar Winery and Vineyards, Refugio Ranch Vineyards and the newly acquired Buttonwood Farm Winery & Vineyard in Solvang — has improved the utility of its three properties in the area in addition to its main wine operations.

Michael Vining, Director of Agriculture and Sustainability, joined the team in August 2021 to help family properties become more self-sufficient.
