AeroCollect and Indical Bioscience provide technology for veterinary diagnostics
With new technology, AeroCollect, you can get a clear picture of the diseases developing in an animal herd with a simple air sample. AeroCollect is a subsidiary of the Danish research and technology organization, Force technology. To expand internationally, AeroCollect is now partnering with Indian biosciences to manage sales and distribution in the global market.
The technology works by pulling a stream of air through a small sample chamber. High voltage is applied to the test chamber, creating an electric field across the sample chamber which captures and concentrates bacteria, viruses and other microscopic particles. The sample chamber is then sent to the laboratory where the contents are analyzed for pathogens using qPCR analysis. Results are ready in 1 to 2 hours.

MrFeed de Menon demonstrates its success in sustainability
Renewable products from Menon completed a trial exploring the effects of Menon’s new formulation of its proprietary ingredient, MrFeed, on broilers at the Poultry Research and Training Center at the University of Zamorano in Honduras. The study showed that the new formulation, which consists entirely of renewable products, could be just as effective in increasing the weight of broilers, while increasing the viability of the animals without the use of antibiotics.

This waste-to-energy technology can help layer complexes reduce electricity costs by 65-85%. Last year, the company succeeded in reducing 113,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent of greenhouse gas emissions and reducing unpleasant odors for the community.
